Reservation Policy

Reservations are taken up to six months in advance. A 50% deposit at the time of reservation will confirm your rooms.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least seven days before your check-in date time of 2:00pm, will receive a refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee on the deposit amount. (This 10% covers our Credit Card and Banking Fees)

Cancellations made less than seven days before your check-in date time of 2:00pm will receive a refund, minus a 50% cancellation fee on the deposit amount.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your check-in date time of 2:00pm will receive no refund on your deposit.

Early arrivals and late departures

If your arrival is early in the day and you prefer immediate access to your room, we recommend reserving for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the Hotel. If you choose not to reserve, we will be glad to store your bags and make our public lounges and services available for you.

Online Information We Gather

When you confirm a Turrialba Bed and Breakfast reservatoin, we collect and store your personal and transactional information in our customer database. This information is generally used to process your transactions, respond to your requests, and improve the quality of your travel in Costa Rica.

Aggregate data and usage

In addition to personal information, we collect and store information about the products purchased by channel and the pages viewed by all of our website visitors. We then use this data in aggregate form to identify overall customer behavior patterns. Our goal in using this information is to improve your experience at Turrialba Bed and Breakfast by being more responsive to the needs and preferences of our customers.

Our Web servers automatically collect information about each visitor who requests Turrialba Bed and Breakfast Web pages, including your computer's internet protocol (IP) address. This IP address allows us to identify your computer on the internet so that the Web content you request from us can be sent to you.

Online Order Information

We request an e-mail address during the order process so that we can send an e-mail confirmation message acknowledging the receipt of your purchase. This message contains your name, address, your room confirmation and any additional information. Please note that this confirmation e-mail does not contain your credit card number.

In order to register at Turrialba Bed and Breakfast, we ask you to provide the following information:

* First and last name—We require this information in order to differentiate your registration from others at Turrialba Bed and Breakfast.
* Mailing address—We store your mailing address for you so that we can communicate confirmations and general information concerning your reservations.
* E-mail address—This allows us to send you an e-mail confirming your trip registration and payment. It also allows us to send you a new account password by e-mail should you forget yours.
* Daytime phone number—We require a phone number in case there is a problem with your registration or there is a need to clarify information. We will not telemarket to you, nor will we provide your telephone number to any other entity for telemarketing purposes.
* User Name and Password—We may require a unique User ID and Password combination for every customer who uses our online registration website. This information allows you to securely access your registration information. If you forget your password, we can send a new one to the e-mail address supplied in your profile, at your request.
* Passport and Expiration Date — The Costa Rican Migration Authority requires all hotels to provide customer identification numbers of room occupants. We ask for the expiration date to ensure your passport does not expire during the duration of your travel in Costa Rica.

Click-Stream Data (And Cookie Technology)

In order to register with Turrialba Bed and Breakfast' websites, your browser must be set to accept "cookies." A cookie is a small piece of data housed in a text file or folder on your computer's hard drive that helps us recognize you when you visit our sites. The only personal information our Turrialba Bed and Breakfast cookie can contain is information that you supply yourself. Our cookies cannot read data from other parts of your computer.
